So I have been one who loves thrift stores. I have also found that I love transformation, doesn’t matter what kind, but I love how something plain can be made into something totally awesome.
(I am going through old phone photos so a bunch of my posts will be from a while ago but I wanted to share here.)
Earlier I had gone to a thrift store and saw this cute little couch and thought it would be perfect for the kids! Most couches here in Japan are small and short so perfect for kiddos! But I left empty handed. It was only 800 yen or about 7 dollars but I thought it was to crazy and bold to buy so I left it there. But…..
I couldn’t stop thinking about it! So after Trevor got home, Abby and I hopped into the car and went and picked it up! My little car fits a ton of stuff if you just try!
When we got home I sprayed, well actually drenched it with Febreze to help clean it along with a thorough vacuuming. . It smelled like dusty old people smell. You know the one I am talking about. the spray did the trick!
The kiddos loved playing with it. We have since changed up the living room but they adore their little couch!
Abby wanted me to take a photo of her and her contraption.
We have had the couch for about a year now and I still love it!
