Lately I have been thinking a lot about personal blocks and my weaknesses. I understand that we have weaknesses for a reason and that we can be made strong through Christ. But somedays, golly, I just need to sit and watch Netflix because I become so overwhelmed with them. Maybe some of you can relate, but I have been struggling… View Post
I have been thinking a lot about how I need to be better at getting into the kitchen and cooking for my family. I really do have a goal to be more onto of our food and being actively choosing what we eat instead of the, idunnowhatdoyouwant line coming out of one of us. I made some cute boards on… View Post
When the husband is away, the wife will try and redecorate the whole house. That’s pretty much the rule if your husband is TDY (temporary duty.) I got two night stands from a lady in our ward. I decided to paint it with a beachy faux finish. Painting can be relaxing, but sometimes I am just not very good at… View Post
For Halloween Abigail wanted to be a “mermaid, human, princess” So we headed over to our 100 yen store and picked up some felt to start working on her tail. (Which by the way she didn’t want to wear when halloween came, but oh well!) I think she enjoyed spending time with me making a special tail just for her!… View Post
When we got married, parents and grandparents purchased Trev and I a table from ikea. While the table was awesome for us for a while, it did have square corners. Corners + Kids at just the right height = boo boos. A guy in our ward had this free table and I jumped for the chance to get it! So… View Post
Yea for our new tv stand! We have been needing something higher for a while since the kids thought they could touch it. I scored this beauty for $30! I refreshed her with some flat black spray paint! She is a lovely addition to our living room!

It has been a few months and we are pretty much settled in. Japan. I never thought I would be living in Japan. Ever. But I absolutely love it here. Misawa is more of a farm country area rather than metropolitan area. I love how relaxing and calming it is here. I am going to do a photo dump here…. View Post
I wrote a post via my phone the other day trying to post photos that I had been stashing on my phone. As some of you may know, we are in Misawa, Japan for a military assignment. I never thought I would find myself in Japan, much less love it here but I do. I love cute things and I… View Post
Life has been crazy around here. If you haven’t heard, we are moving to Japan. A few weeks ago we got the tentative date on our orders. August 15th. They just gave us the check list of everything we have to do before we move.
So last night was drop night. That is were the class gets together and everyone gets their next assignment base. I was nervous, stressing, scared. Any negative emotion someone could have all at once that was me. We have been in San Angelo, Texas for intelligence training for my husband; which he is really enjoying! So it was Trevor’s turn… View Post

My grandparents came by our house for a wonderful afternoon! They are such lovely people and they give very good advice! Abigail loved seeing them and John simply loved cuddling with his great grandmother!
Sorry. But its true. I never post. And if I do, its here and there. I find that I am a private person. I used to be an extrovert, but now am an introvert. I am not blaming anyone but having children and staying home all day is a big reason. Also my generation grew up on msn messenger and… View Post
So there are a few things that I struggle with. I don’t know about you but clutter and disorganization is a big issue for me. We are unpacking and the stuff just keeps coming. The CRAP I should say keeps coming. Things that make me say, why in the world do I have this. We are in San Angelo, Texas… View Post
