Rain Storm and a Mud Pit

in Uncategorized on 18/06/13

The other night we had a pretty strong storm come through Enid. Booming thunder, bright lightning, and a little girl who stayed asleep in her bed through all of it. Yesterday Abigail found a puddle of water in the grass in our backyard. As a child, she naturally had to stomp through it and not soon later it became a mud pit. Her new white skirt soon became an Oklahoma dirt red. I’ve been wanting to dye some shirts with dirt and use some heat transfer vinyl to put Oklahoma on it. But thats another day. She loved playing in the mud and started pretending it was a river she had to cross between me and the large tree in the background. I love how her imagination is growing! We rinsed her off but later that night, just in a diaper, she found her little muddy playground again.
