This month’s Visiting Teaching Message is based of of General Conference that was held in October. Here is what is included in the Free Visiting Teaching Message
“November 2016 Message
General Conference—Select from the talks given in the October general conference to share a visiting teaching message. Use inspiring messages from our leaders to teach and uplift.”
I love this quote from President Monson. “We need to work and learn, search and pray, repent and improve.” President Thomas S. Monson –> Link to his talk HERE
I hope that as you search and read conference, you will be inspired of what to share with your sisters.
I am really excited about this months Extended Pack ($1.99) . I don’t usually buy gifts for my sisters because visiting teaching isn’t about the gifts you take or the bread you make. It is about creating a friendship of support and love. For this month I went with a theme. Cozy up with Conference. Something to help them get comfy, relax and enjoy conference.
I designed the printable to be able to be used various ways. This is what I have done with the printables.
I created this checklist so we could keep track of of what we have read and studied. This is an 8.5 x 11 in but you could print the page smaller if that is preferred.
I love taking notes and wanted to make a scripture sized notebook I could take to church to use on days that we have Teaching for our Times on the 4th Sunday to add additional thoughts and inspiration. I have a tutorial on how to make Jotters- or little note books that you can find HERE where I show how you can stitch up the notebook. The scripture size is small enough to be stapled together. There is also an 8.5 inch x 11 inch cover that could be used on composition notebooks or on the cover of a binder.
This is a fun slider that I created to fit hot chocolate in! I’m working on creating a short little video of how to make one!
You just pull the ribbon and it lifts the hot chocolate out! It is so fun and interactive. Perfect for pairing with a mug from the dollar store!
Here is a quick video I put together talking about the slider!
I am also a big fan of EOS lip blam. I created this printable to fit on the EOS lip balm that is in a package vs the ones with only shrink wrap. (I think this alone would be a great gift for your sisters or Young Womens)
It gets pretty cold here in Misawa, Japan so these cozy socks are perfect for curling up with the Conference Edition of the Ensign! I simply cut slits on each side and threaded ribbon through to tie around the socks but you could punch a hole in the corner and tie it to a little something you got for your sisters.
More than ever, we do have many reasons to rejoice and be optimistic! I love putting greeting cards in my extended packs so you can write a short note to your sisters!
There are also a few little quotes added in and a little extra section of the coordinating striped pattern.
I have gathered it all together in this super cute bag from the 100 yen store and can’t wait to surprise my sisters!
It is only 1.99 for the extended pack. I can’t wait to see what you create with this pack!
This is kind of random, but can you tell what font you used for all the quotes and also the cursive writing on the hot chocolate packet? I love them!
Hey Angie!
