On base they have a center called the Airman and Family Readiness Center (AFRC) where they host classes about the Japanese culture, Air Force life, and things of the sort. Sometimes they offer fun activities like movie nights for families with deployed members and kimono photo shoots. We were able to do a Kimono photoshoot this past week. It was a quick session and I was only able to snap a few photos.
It was pretty late in the evening and the kids weren’t quite feeling it.
but I do have to say that it was a really fun and I can’t wait to buy some kimonos for us to take home back to the states. which is coming up next year. The moving process has already begun!
I really do feel like I need to do a meme on this one. Comment below if you have any good ideas!
Abigail looked so adorable in this kimono! All of the ladies there were swooning and saying Kawaii! (Cute in Japanese)
This is one of those, “Mom, I am kind of done.”
They had a photographer there that took our family ones.
This was such a fun experience and I am so grateful that we were able to do it! Let me know if you would like to tag along on a Kimono Shopping trip in the comments below.
Oh, I definitely want to go kimono shopping with you!!!
